Friday 17th November saw the first return match against Milford Club.

Their members came twice in the summer to play bowls and now it was our turn to visit them. We started the first of the two return matches leading in points, looking good to be the winners of the trophy this year. We had an evening of playing, snooker, billiards, pool, cribbage, dominoes, shove 1/2penny, darts and table bowls. It was a fun night; we had novices in several events and some who may not have played for 20 plus years in others, but we did OK, we did not disgrace ourselves. Our lead in the trophy points has been impacted as the skills of our opposition shone through.

We ended the evening, having enjoyed the hosipality and left with smiles on our faces.

The second return evening will be a skittles evening in December, all to play for as there are only 5 shots in it. The trophy could go either way.
