Safeguarding Policy
Safeguarding Policy
Safeguarding is a term used to describe the ethos, processes and procedures an organisation adopts to ensure a safe environment and culture
in which everyone can fulfill their potential.
Milford Bowling Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults who use our club facilities. The Club expects all members (including Committee Members, Coaches, and Volunteers) to share this commitment.
We all have a responsibility to show respect to others and report or challenge unsafe or bullying behaviour.
Our Club Safeguarding Officer (SO) is Jackie Malton who can be contacted on jackiejmalton@aol.com.
If you have a safeguarding concern, please record your concern, any observations or conversation heard and report to
Jackie Malton as soon as possible. Refer to the guidance in the appropriate Safeguarding in Bowls Policy.
We take safeguarding concerns seriously and will respond in line with national and local guidance.
